Bridget and her Grandmother are about to become roommates. However, what Bridget saw as a unique opportunity to stay with her favorite Nana in New York for the summer quickly turns into an experience she’ll never forget. Join the PAL Players in the tradition of successful recent productions that have included Tuna Does Vegas and The Odd Couple.

Performances are on October 20, 21, 27, 28, and 29. Tickets for a dinner Saturday performance need to be purchased the Wednesday prior before 4:00pm. Tickets for a desert Sunday performance need to be purchased the Saturday prior before 11:00am.

Rock Creek Singers ~~ TICKETS
The Rock Creek Singers are part of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC. Directed by Dr. Thea Kano, the group is a select, dynamic chamber ensemble comprised of 32 singers who perform a cappella and accompanied classical and contemporary music for audiences throughout the national capital region.
Return of Poetry Slam ~~ FREE
Celebrate the creativity of Luray’s next generation in this SECOND FREE event developed by the Page County Public Schools and PAL. High school students showcase their writing and performing talents in this free-form performance setting.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Celebration ~~ FREE
PAL and LDI will host the Town of Luray’s annual tree-lighting ceremony on the PAL Plaza. Free festivities will include music by Left of the Dial and the Eva Weber Group, plus readings by Carrie Campbell and Luray Elementary School students!
Christmas Parade After Party ~~ FREE
After the holiday reception at the Chamber of Commerce, follow Santa downtown on his firetruck to PAL, where everyone (Santa included) can enjoy treats and refreshments, plus entertainment by Left of the Dial, the Eva Weber Group, and Patsy’s Pans.

Page County Community Choir ~~ FREE
With a tradition of performing at churches throughout Luray, the Choir will also put on a free holiday performance at PAL. Under the direction of Dr. Tonya Menard, this high-energy group of vocalists performs a series of Christmas concerts each year.

Creative Writing: Society, Justice, and the World ~~ FREE
In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, Luray High School students will present writings about society, justice, and issues in the world about which they care deeply. This will be a free event.

We are delighted to host a return engagement of artists with close ties to the Shenandoah Valley. We are grateful to these nationally known musicians for their time and expertise in support of PAL. This will be PAL’s only fundraising event of 2018. Get your tickets early for this evening of world-class music, fellowship, and celebration of the LIVE arts in Luray.

Experience Shakespeare as you’ve never heard him, in a collection of scenes that capture the merriment, jokes, imbibing, and double entendres, and fun. Comedy, wine, and slapstick rule the day in a performance by this rollicking travelling band of classically trained actors whose goal is to put the “fun” back into Shakespeare.
