24-Hour Theater

March 10, 2012

The PAL Players of Performing Arts Luray will again host 24-Hour Theater on March 10.

The Players seek writers, directors, actors and backstage crew to participate. Director Claire Comer invites participants from across the region. "If you've considered becoming involved in theater but you have been concerned about the time commitment, this is the event for you. It requires only a 24-hour commitment," Comer says. For the event, participants will assemble at the Center March 9 at 7 pm. Writers and directors will pair with actors and crew will be assigned to each writer/director team. Writers will then work through the night to create a one-act play for the actors they've been assigned. Actors, directors and crew will return at 9 am March 10 and prepare to perform the play at 7 pm that evening.

Interested actors, writers, directors and crew of all ages and experiences should contact Comer at 540-860-1084.

The PAL Players are also looking for sponsors for each team. Sponsorships are $100. Individuals or businesses interested in sponsoring a team also should contact Claire.
